Spoofing Interference Suppression in GNSS Using Repeated CLEAN

  • Spoofing is capable of leading to the positioning and timing error or even controlling the receiver, which poses a great threat on the safe application of global satellite navigation system in the civilian and military fields. In this paper, a novel algorithm based on repeated CLEAN is proposed for spoofing mitigation. The proposed method estimates the directions of interference sources and the spoofing number by CLEAN method based on the spatial and power characteristics of the spoofing interferences and the cycle characteristic of the C/A code. Moreover, linear constrained minimum variance (LCMV) algorithm and the first-order derivative constraints algorithm are combined to calculate the adaptive antenna weights. The experiments show that the new method can suppress multiple spoofing interferences without feedback information of receiver. Finally, it also can be used as an independent anti-jamming module embedded the common receiver.
