Parameter Estimation of Air Highly Maneuvering Targets under Phased Array System via CPT

  • For the parameter estimation of air highly maneuvering targets under phased array radar system, a new algorithm based on Cubic Phase Transform (CPT) is proposed in this paper. The proposed method introduce CPT method into phased array phased system. To achieve coherent integration of the signals, the proposed algorithm uses the phase relationship between the received data of the phased-array radar. Consequently, the problem of the poor estimation performance by using the CPT, which is caused by the limited number of time samples of airborne radar within a CPI, can be solved. Numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the performance of the proposed algorithm.
