Design of Wideband Digital Array Radar Receiving System Based on the OpenVPX Standard

  • This article describes a wideband digital array test system, which consists of 8 antennas. The operating frequency band is 1-3GHz with the instantaneous bandwidth of 500MHz. The system integrates two 4-channel high-speed ADC, and the sampling rate is 1.2GSPS. The ADC is capable of directly sampling the RF analog signals. The signal Processor is designed of modular thinking based on VPX Standard. Data are processed by a multi-level grading sub-array, with a high degree of scalability. The results of experiment demonstrate the effectiveness and flexibility of the system.
