Single-antenna blind signal separation algorithm for time-frequency overlapped digital communication signal with distinct carrier frequency

  • In this paper, based on the carrier frequency distinct feature among original sources, a blind signal separation method is proposed for the single-antenna time-frequency overlapped digital communication signal.The method changes the single-antenna recording into multi-channel model based the feature that the carrier frequency of original sources are different from each other. Then, the method analyzes spectral information obtained by the short time Fourier transform to extract amplitude and phase values at each center frequency of overlapped signals. Using those extracted information enables signals from single-antenna data to be separated and reconstructed. The simulation tests demonstrate the feasible feasibility of the proposed approach for single-channel time-frequency overlapped digital communication signal separation.
