Study on reference differential compressive correlated imaging scheme

  • Correlated imaging can obtain an image of object in the reference beam where the object is not inside. It provides a new method to slove the problems which are difficult using conventional imaging techniques. Currently, it has become one of the hot topics in quantum optics. However, how to shorten the reconstruction time and how to get high resolution are still open problems in correlated imaging scheme. In this paper, we proposed a new scheme with reference differential correlated imaging based on compressive sensing, named Reference Differential Compressive Correlated Imaging (RDCGI). In the scheme, we utilized the difference of intensity distributution of the pseudo-thermal light which meets Gaussian random distribution as measurement matrix, we used the correlated measurement results as measurement vector, and we reconstructed the images of objects using the recovery algorithm of compressive sensing. The theoretical analysis and numerical simulation results showed that the RDCGI scheme had the same improvement as the Differential Compressive Ghost Imaging (DCGI) scheme in 19. RDCGI is superior to the traditional correlated imaging scheme both in the reconstruction time and the image resolution.
