Adaptive MIMO Detection Algorithm in Fading Slowly Channels

  • Aiming at high complexity of existing detection algorithm in V-BLAST system, a adaptive MIMO detection algorithm based on fading slowly channels is proposed in this paper. This scheme acquires the signal detection order and initial filter weight vectors through the Ordered Successive Interference Cancellation (OSIC) algorithm based on Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) criterion. The filter weight vectors can be updated by applying the Least Mean Square (LMS) algorithm into Decision Feedback Equalizer (DFE) according to the channel correlation, in which lots of matrix inversing operation. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can acquire lower computation complexity and higher processing efficiency in spite of a little performance degradation compared with traditional MMSE-OSIC detection algorithm.
