Performance Analysis of the Multi-User Multi-Way Relaying Under the Influence of Channel Estimation Error

  • The multi-user multi-way relay system enjoys a high system capacity and practical value in comparison with two-way relay system. The required number of communication phases for the system is equal to the number of nodes in the system. In this paper, with the imperfect channel state information, we analyze the performance of the multi-user multi-way relaying under the influence of channel estimation error. First of all, we derive the end-to-end signal-to-noise ratio based on the system model. Then, considering symmetric traffic and asymmetric traffic, a total assessable rate expression for the multi-user multi-way relaying system is derived. Finally, the simulation confirms the correctness of the theoretical analysis. The effect of channel estimation error on the outage probability of the system and the system capacity of the symmetric and asymmetric traffic is also analyzed through numerical results.
