  • As for the development trend of radar imaging technique,The high resolution range profile(HRRP) has been one of the key technologies.The high resolution range profile imaging theory of stepped-frequency radar has been derived.Then based on analysis of two factors that affect,the high resolution range profile imaging quality of stepped-frequency radar,a method using second velocity estimation based on fast Fourier transform and pulse summation function to solve problems of velocity compensation during imaging process is presented.According to the characteristics of the actual radar system and the test results,phase-unwrapping is used to correct the phase error before imaging process.Eventually this high resolution range profile imaging algorithm of stepped-frequency radar is verified by simulation and measured data.
