A Modified Cyclic Power Spectrum Feature Detection  Algorithm for Cognitive Radio

  • Through the research on the frequency spectrum detection technology for cognitive radio, firstly the basic concept of the cyclic power spectrum is described in details in this paper according to the cyclic stable character of the wireless communication signal. Then, in terms of the secondorder cyclic stable character of the wireless communication signal, the cyclic power spectrum feature detection technology is proposed on the basis of the classic cyclic power spectrum detection technology, and modified according to the actual requirement of cognitive radio. Subsequently simulation is proceeded with the QPSK signal, which is adopted widely in modern communication system. Finally the effective performance of the detection algorithm is analyzed in details according to the result of the computer simulation, and the feasibility of the algorithm is verified by the actual application.
