Unified multitype interference suppression algorithm for GPS

  •  Deception interference, blanket jamming and GPS multipath interference are the most common and treat interferences for GPS. When these interferences interfere GPS receiver simultaneously, a unified antijamming processor combined subspace technique with low sidelobe conventional beamforming techinique is proposed in this paper, which is capable of suppressing a mixture of interference types including deception interference, blanket jamming and GPS multipath interference and providing signal processing gain for GPS signal. Also, the correlation property of GPS signal and deception interference is analyzed. When GPS signal and deception interference is partial correlation and uncorrelation, the interference subspace is calculated by eigenvalue decomposition of covariance matrix, and they are coherent each other, high resolution coherent subspace estimation technique is applied to calculate the interference subspace. Simulation results show that the algorithm proposed in this paper can suppress deception interference, blanket jamming and GPS multipath interference simultaneously, and ensure GPS receiver acquire satellite signal accurately.
