DistUAV-Tomo3D-1.0:Distributed UAV Radar Multiple Transmit-Receive Single-Pass Tomographic SAR 3D Imaging Dataset

  • ‍ ‍Airborne tomographic synthetic aperture radar (TomoSAR) 3D imaging represents a cutting-edge development in synthetic aperture radar technology. Traditionally, TomoSAR 3D imaging data are acquired through multiple passes or array systems, which are limited by challenges such as prolonged data acquisition times and low elevation resolution. In comparison, distributed UAV SAR radar leverages coherent collaboration among multi-station UAV radar signals to establish equivalent nodes in the elevation, achieving elevation resolution while substantially improving the efficiency of TomoSAR data acquisition. Nevertheless, the industry currently lacks systems and datasets for researching the technology of signal synchronization and TomoSAR imaging for distributed UAV radar. Therefore, Beijing Institute of Technology has developed a four-unit distributed UAV SAR system and conducted a distributed UAV radar 3D imaging data acquisition experiment at Beijing Jinhai Lake Airport. Towards advancing the research in distributed UAV radar TomoSAR imaging technology, this paper introduces the Distributed UAV Radar Multiple Transmit-Receive Single-Pass TomoSAR 3D Imaging Dataset (DistUAV-Tomo3D-1.0), which provides valuable data support for academic research and technical validation of distributed radar signal synchronization methods and distributed radar imaging technology.
