Abstract:
To mitigate the deleterious influence of the distance measure equipment (DME) impulse signal on the receiver of L-band digital aeronautical communication system 1 (L-DACS1), a DME interference mitigation method based on joint two-stage filtering and compressed sensing was proposed. Firstly, DME interference was estimated by a high-pass filter in the receiver and eliminated from the received signals in time domain. Then, the residual DME interference and noise were further filtered out by low-pass filtering. Finally, based on the sparse characteristics of DME signal in time domain, the remaining DME interference after two-stage filtering were further reconstructed and eliminated using compressed sensing algorithm. Numerical simulation shows that using the proposed method in this paper, DME interference power can be attenuated about 41dB, which effectively overcomes the impact of DME pulse interference on the receiver of L-DACS1 system.
