Abstract:
An active noise control method for head-mounted active noise control system is proposed in this paper. By combining virtual microphone technique and dividing the horizontal plane into several sub-regions, an effective noise control at human ear can be achieved. Because the main factor affecting noise reduction is the deviation between the actual primary acoustic transfer function and the estimated primary acoustic transfer function, an optimization method for designing the primary acoustic transfer function in a certain region is proposed by maximizing the minimum noise reduction in this region. Accordingly, the horizontal plane is divided into several sub-regions, the optimized primary acoustic transfer function is used for noise control in each sub-region. Experimental results show the validity of the proposed method for head-mounted active noise control system.
