Abstract:
Recently, physical layer security in wireless communication system attracts much research interest, and the key reconciliation plays an important role inside. Since the keys extracted from the realistic characteristics of the wireless channel are not the same, a reconcilation method using Polar code is proposed in the paper to correct the errors. Here, we adopt the inverse reconciliation protocol. Firstly, Alice and Bob, the authorized users, obtain their sifted keys by estimating the characteristics of the wireless channel. Bob then encodes his sifted keys with inverse Polar coding technique, and sends the frozen bits information to Alice under the wireless channel. With the frozen bits and positions information, Alice decodes her sifted keys with successive cancellation Polar decoding algorithm. Finally, Alice encodes the above resultants and obtains the secure keys with Bob. The simulation results show that the consistency of the keys has been improved, and one can get a higher success rate by using the proposed reconcilation method, in comparison with the recocilation method with low density parity check code.
