Abstract:
Due to the low resolution of Doppler dimension, the sonar system that transmits narrow band signals could not provide better performance Doppler information. However, in this case, an accurate estimation of the time of arrival (TOA) of the signal can be obtained. In addition, the Range-Doppler coupling phenomenon often occurs in the Doppler fault tolerant signals, such as linear frequency modulated (LFM) signals. In this paper, the distance Doppler coupling phenomenon is modeled into a target measurement model, and the iterative Multi-object Multi-Bernoulli (MeMBer) filter is designed to accomplish the target tracking based on TOA measurement in multi station passive sonar system. The performance of the proposed algorithm is verified via simulations.
