Codebook Assignment Optimization in Sparse Code Multiple Access System

摘要: 稀疏码多址(sparse code multiple access, SCMA)作为第五代(fifth generation, 5G)移动通信中极具竞争力的无线空口技术,能够提高频谱效率和支持海量连接。由于用户和基站之间的信道具有随机性,根据信道增益情况对用户所传输的码本信息进行自适应的调整,从而达到提升SCMA系统性能。针对SCMA系统中码本分配优化的问题,提出算法有:固定资源节点次序码本分配、动态资源节点次序码本分配。仿真结果表明,与传统随机码本分配相比,所提算法在收敛性能不变的情况下改善了系统误比特率(bit error ratio, BER)性能。Abstract: Sparse code multiple access (SCMA) is a competitive air-interface technology in fifth generation (5G) mobile communication, which can enhance spectrum efficiency and support massive connections. Due to the random feature of channels between base station and users, the performance of SCMA system will be promoted by adaptively adjusting transmitted codebook of users according to the condition of channel gain. Codebook assignment based on fixed resource nodes order and codebook assignment based on dynamic resource nodes order are proposed to solve the problem of codebook assignment optimization. Simulation results show that proposed algorithms can obviously improve bit error ratio (BER) performance and maintain the same convergence rate compared with conventional random codebook assignment.
