NOMA enhanced D2D communication resource allocation algorithm

  • In traditional cellular networks, multiple access technology plays a particularly critical role. Compared with Orthogonal Multiple Access (OMA) technology, The number of supported users using Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) far exceeds the number of available orthogonal resources, which can achieve higher spectrum efficiency and user fairness. Therefore, in order to improve the overall capacity of heterogeneous cellular networks, this paper studied the resource allocation problem of NOMA enhanced device to device (D2D) and decomposes it into two independent sub-problems: channel allocation and power control. On the one hand, the D2D group was allocated appropriate channels based on the Coalition game; on the other hand, the D2D transmission power and power allocation factor were jointly optimized according to the feasible solution domain to maximize the D2D achievable rate in the entire network. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the computational complexity while ensuring the performance of the system.
