Inversion of Linear Target Parameters and Image Reconstruction for Multistatic-SAR

  • Because of the single observation angle, the traditional monostatic SAR imaging system has discontinuous edges when imaging line targets in complex scenes. To solve this problem, a method of line target parameter inversion and image reconstruction for Multistatic-SAR is proposed in this paper. This method deduces the expression of parametric scattering model of line target in SAR image based on geometric model theoretically. By analyzing the characteristics of line target changing repeatedly from line segment to two endpoints in different observation angles, this phenomenon is explained from the angle of spatial spectrum sampling. According to the characteristics of line target spatial spectrum, a method of parameter inversion and image reconstruction based on least squares estimation is designed. The simulation results show that the proposed method of parameter inversion and image reconstruction for multi-static SAR line targets has higher accuracy than single-angle monostatic SAR under different PSNR. When the PSNR of the SAR image is 28 dB, the accuracy reaches 84%. Based on the inversion results, image reconstruction can be realized.
