A single sample compression sampling method for radar signals

  • This paper presents a single sample compression sampling method for radar signals. This method is improved on the basis of the Analog to Information Converter (AIC) scheme of multi-phase random sub-sampling FFT. Taking advantage of the strong correlation of multiple continuous pulses of radar signal, a single sample compression sampling AIC is proposed. A single pulse can obtain a single sample value to realize the compressed sampling of sparse signals. This method reduces the complexity of the hardware circuit, improves the compression ratio, and achieves accurate estimation of parameters such as the position and velocity of the target. Simulation experiments verify the effectiveness of this method.
