Spoofing Detection and Suppression Method by Utilizing Vector Tracking Loop

  • Spoofing is hidden because its signal model is similar to real satellite signals’.In recent years, spoofing has been a threat to GPS system and has been attracted extensive attention of scholars in the world. Besides, the generated spoofing signals’delay and power are controllable and variable, so they have stronger concealment and harmfulness. To improve the receiver’s anti-spoofing performance, array antenna technology is combined with vector tracking loop, and spoofing detection and suppression method based on vector tracking loop is present in this paper. Firstly, this paper construct reference signal based on VL according to despread-respread algorithm. Secondly, spoofing detection mode is established according to integration results of received signals and reference signal. Thirdly, covariance matrix is estimated according to coherent integration results of array received signals and reference signal. Fourthly, spoofing signals’ eigenvector is estimated according to eigenvector of the largest eigenvalue, and orthogonal projection is constructed based on spoofing signals’ eigenvector to suppress spoofing. Theoretical analysis and simulation experiments verify that this spoofing detection and suppression method by utilizing vector tracking loop has considerable anti-spoofing performance.
