Study of Mixed Jamming Suppression Algorithm for Phased Array Rada

  • In complicated environments, there is mixed jamming including stronger blanket jamming and deception jamming. It led to inaccurate detection of targets, low anti-jamming ability of radar and so on. Therefore, the anti-mixed jamming algorithm based on side-lobe canceller was put forward. The principal of side-lobe canceller suppressing blanket jamming could be applied to the transmission of every auxiliary channel through the analysis of the phased array radar anti-jamming techniques. It was able to suppress the stronger blanket jamming in auxiliary channels, so that it can resolve the problem that high-power blanket jamming floors deception jamming and achieve the goal that side-lobe blanking suppress deception jamming after filtering and detecting. The simulation result shows that the stronger blanket jamming and the distance deception jamming are suppressed and the radar target is detected. This algorithm can reduce the mixed jamming’s impact on radar target and enhance the detection ability of target.
