Power allocation algorithm for distributed underwater acoustic communication network based on game theory

  •  For improving the survival time of the nodes and the Qos(quality of the service) in the multi-node underwater acoustic communication networks, we proposed a distributed power allocation algorithm based on game theory. First, the overall interference level of the network was considered in the utility function to optimize the SINR and the Qos of the networks. Second, the residual energy was further introduced into the utility function. So that the nodes whose residual energy were lower should reduce the transmitting power, thereby increasing the survival time of the nodes. The existence and uniqueness of the Nash equilibrium of this formulated game was proven. Simulation results show that the algorithm can extend the life of nodes, optimize the system SINR and improve the node energy efficiency.
