The Timedelay Alignment of Estimation Synthesis

  • The timedelay alignment problem is always an important problem in the multiple antenna synthesis system. A timedelay alignment algorithm based on estimation synthesis was proposed, in order to solve the problem that timedelay alignment performance was poor at the low signaltonoise ratio (SNR) value. By taking the weighted sum of the initial timedelay of all the signals as a fixed reference center and making full use of the correlations of each estimated timedelay differences, the new algorithm improved the timedelay alignment performance. Then we analyzed and compared the performance between the proposed algorithm and the timedelay alignment algorithm based on quasi synthesis reference (TAQSR). The theory and simulation results indicate that the performance is improved gradually with the increase of number of antenna, especially in low SNR. n addition, the new algorithm has better performance than TAQSR.
