The design and analysis of an efficient non-uniform channelized filter structure without blind area

  • The weighted overlap-add filter bank is an efficient structure to realize the channelized filter. However when it is realizing , the prior information of the subband singles, such as the quantity, the location, the bandwidth and so on are need to be knew. So it can’t be designed flexibly, be reutilized, and realize the non-uniform channel filter. In this paper, a non-uniform channel filter structure based on the WOLA filter-banks is presented using the combination of the adjacent channel. Computer simulation illustrates that the structure utilizing fully the advantages of the WOLA filter-banks can achieves the channel receiving of the subband signal with any position, any bandwidth and any quantity. During the realization process of the structure, the computational complexity is low and the efficiency of hardware implementation is high. Because of not needing to know the prior information of the signal, the design flexibility is high and the replacement is allowable. At the same time the subband signal sampling rate can be regulated by the changing of the extraction factor which enhances the flexibility of the output signal.
