Abstract:
As the explosion of wireless multimedia services, device-to-device (D2D) communication technology has naturally become a new focus of the research in the next generation mobile communications. As a main component among the key technologies, the security and effectiveness of establishing D2D links which are depending on peer discovery aiming to probe the D2D communication contacts is critically challenging. So, we proposed the user-demand peer discovery strategy based on social relationships, which was according to the documents requested by users, social relationships and the status information feed-backing or updating by base stations to identify potential D2D users to establish D2D links. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that, the proposed strategy can effectively discover neighboring users, and at the same time, the security of constituting D2D link between users has also been increased.
