Abstract:
In order to solve the direction finding problem of beamforming system in the presence of multiple signals, a novel wideband beamspace super-resolution direction finding algorithm has been proposed aiming at wideband optically controlled phased array (WOCPA), in which amplitude weighting and time delay control beamforming method is adopted. Data model of WOCPA multiple-beam system is built, Firstly beam date are transformed to frequency-domain and analyzed, and then large frequency components are chosen to estimate the direction of arrival (DOA) in corresponding frequency respectively via narrow-band super-resolution DOA estimation algorithm such as MUSIC; finally the estimation results of each frequency are processed to get the final estimation result. Effects of beam parameters on the proposed algorithm are analyzed, including beam number, space interval between adjacent beams and amplitude weighting method. Multiple signals in one beam can be distinguished by the proposed algorithm; its effectiveness and correctness have been verified by computer simulations.
