Abstract:
The fourth generation fighters have the feature of stealth, supersonic and maneuvering, and detection performance of the fighters with traditional radar is bad. To solve the problem, the detection performance of the fighters for metric-band bistatic radar is studied which combines the advantage of metric-band radar and bistatic radar. First the signal model of metric-band bistatic radar target echo is presented, and the characteristic of range cell migration and Doppler cell migration are analyzed. Then the Keystone transform based long term coherent integration algorithm for metric-band bistatic radar is proposed. The algorithm compensates the range cell migration by Keystone transform and performs long term coherent integration with FFT. Finally, the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified by Monte Carlo simulation. The proposed algorithm provides a novel technical approach for the detection of fourth generation fighters.
