Abstract:
The traditional algorithm of Multistatic Adaptive Pulse Compression combined with adaptive beamforming (MAPC-AB) has been shown to suffer from the strong direct wave interference for shared-spectrum multistatic radar. In this paper, a novel mutual interference suppression algorithm combined a modified MAPC with the adaptive beamforming technique is proposed. In this algorithm, according to the time delay and power of direct wave, the adaptive filter is designed for each range cell to replace the matched filter. And, an adaptive beamformer is designed based on the linearly constrained minimum variance criterion for each azimuth cell. The simulation results show that the mutual interference and the direct wave can be suppressed successfully at the same time, and the signal-to-noise (SNR) is improved by the proposed algorithm.
