Abstract:
Video recording equipment such as digital cameras often generates mechanical noise when zooming or auto-focusing. The subjective auditory perception is obviously during playback of video. One of the most important challenges is to research a new noise suppression algorithm to minimize the noticeable loud mechanical interference caused by high-speed operation of motors. In this paper, we proposed some technologies enable to smooth zooming and auto-focusing noise and enhance speech. A Modified Microphone Array is introduced as a robust adaptive method to enhance desired signal polluted by stationary noise. This paper also presents one Subband post-filtering approach to further drop out the complexity of system and improve the SNR. Noisy data is collected by SANYO Electric Co. Experiments are finished in the normal meeting room. The results show that this system can be an ideal noise reduction device applied for camera recording process.
