一种T/4分数间隔预测判决反馈盲均衡算法

A T/4 fractionally spaced predictive decision feedback  blind equalization algorithm

  • 摘要: 为了消除由深衰落信道引起的严重码间干扰,本文给出一种基于改进双模式多模算法的T/4分数间隔预测判决反馈均衡器。该均衡器采用改进的双模式多模算法独立优化前向、反馈滤波器,前向滤波器采用T/4分数间隔,反馈滤波器采用预测结构,仍为符号速率。在两种深衰落信道条件下仿真实验表明,本文给出的均衡器能够避免传统判决反馈均衡器的误收敛情况;同时其稳态均方误差小于基于常模算法的T/4分数间隔均衡器、基于常模算法的T/4分数间隔判决反馈均衡器,以及基于双模式多模算法的T/4分数间隔预测判决反馈均衡器,更适合处理QAM信号。

     

    Abstract: In order to eliminate the severe inter-symbol interference caused by severe channel fading, this paper presents a T/4 fractionally spaced predictive decision feedback equalizer based on modified Dual Mode Multi-modulus Algorithm (DM-MMA). The forward and feedback filters are designed separately with modified DM-MMA. The forward filter is designed to be a T/4 fractionally spaced filter, such that the taps are spaced at a fraction of the symbol rate, while the feedback filter with a predictive structure is implemented as a symbol rate filter. According to the simulation experiment results under the condition of two severe fading channels, the equalizer presented in this paper can avoid ill-convergence solution caused by conventional decision feedback structure, and the steady-state mean-square errors of the equalizer are less than that of the T/4 fractionally spaced equalizer based on Constant Modulus Algorithm(CMA), T/4 fractionally spaced decision feedback equalizer based on CMA, and T/4 fractionally spaced predictive decision feedback equalizer based on Modified DM-MMA, which makes it more suitable for QAM signals.
