Abstract:
The MCPC signal using Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) structure has carught much attention of researchers recently since it has good anti-jamming capability, high spectrum efficiency and simple digital processing. A new method for target velocity estimation of MCPC signal is presented, the core concept is using Pulse-Doppler processing of subcarriers’s coarse range profile, and then the true velocity can be obtained through LS (Lesat-Squared) algorithm. The simulation results show that even for the high-speed target the method can estimate the velocity efficiently while the SNR is not high. It can achieve the true velocity unambiguously as well as high range resolution performance.
