Abstract:
The interpolation processing is usually used in long time coherent integration or high velocity target tracking occasion to avoid the integration loss resulted from the target motion. However, the parasitical spectrum induced by these operations will interfere the detection and tracking of small targets. Combining with the digital pulse compression process, a novel compensation method is put forward, which is based on the Doppler-range coupling characteristic. The proposed method can control the amplitude modulation and the corresponding parasitical spectrum effectively. Simulation results demonstrate the detection performance under low SNR can be further improved by the proposed method
