Abstract:
Based on time sharing processing of jammer’s receiver and transmitter,we have studied the azimuth intermittent sampling repeater jamming method. The basic idea of this method is as:firstly sampling, storing and modulating the transmitted pulse of SAR;then converting the modulated signal into analog signals;afterward transmitting them in the next one or several pulse repetition periods.By matched filtering in the azimuth direction, this jamming method can produce multiple false targets in the azimuth direction,as well as avoid the difficulties of highspeed sampling and well antenna isolation of receiver and transmitter. The jamming principle and jamming performance are theoretically analyzed. And the influence of intermittent sampling period, duty ratio and jamming group number on the jamming performance is investigated, which is well verified by simulation experiments. The results indicate that the azimuth intermittent sampling repeater jamming method is useful and easily realized in engineering practice.
