超大规模混合场MIMO去伪峰信道估计技术
Channel Estimation Technique for Eliminating Spurious Peaks in Ultra-Massive Hybrid-Field MIMO

摘要: 超大规模MIMO(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output)是6G移动通信的潜在关键技术。在现有的信道模型中,大多假设所有的散射体要么都在远场区域,采用基于平面波假设的远场信道模型;要么都在近场区域,采用基于球面波假设的近场信道模型。实际中,超大规模MIMO系统更容易产生混合场的信道环境,现有的信道模型并不能很好地匹配这种远场近场混合信道的特征,因此不能直接采用现有的信道估计方案。本文对混合场信道进行建模,针对混合场信道空间谱中出现的伪峰问题,提出了一种去伪峰混合场信道估计方案。同时,该方案的设计也考虑了超大规模MIMO天线阵列的空间非平稳问题。仿真结果表明,本文提出的混合场下去伪峰的信道估计方案有较好的信道估计性能。Abstract: Ultra-massive MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) is a potential key technology for 6G mobile communications. Most of the existing channel models assume that all the scatterers are in the far-field region, and adopt the far-field channel model based on the plane wave assumption; Or they are all in the near-field region, using the near-field channel model based on the spherical wave hypothesis. In practice, ultra-massive MIMO systems are more likely to produce hybrid-field channel environments. Existing channel models cannot match the characteristics of this far-field and near-field mixed channel well, so existing channel models and channel estimation schemes cannot be directly used. In this paper, the hybrid-field channel was modeled. Aiming at the problem of spurious peaks in the spatial spectrum of the hybrid-field channel, a channel estimation scheme was proposed to eliminate the spurious peaks. At the same time, this scheme also took into account the spatial non-stationary problem of the ultra-massive MIMO antenna array. Simulation results show that the proposed channel estimation scheme for eliminating spurious peaks in ultra-massive hybrid-field MIMO systems has better channel estimation performance.
