水声通信技术研究进展与技术水平现状

Development and the State of the Art in Underwater Acoustic Communication

  • 摘要: 人类对海洋的深入探索和利用推动了水声通信技术的快速发展,特别是最近二十年,水声通信技术水平大幅提高,技术发展也呈现了一些新的趋势。本文综合国内外最新发表的学术论文与实验结果,梳理了水声通信技术发展历程以及未来趋势,重点在调制方式、编码方法等方面总结出当前水声通信领域的前沿研究方向。在此基础上,本文归纳得出当前水声通信科研实验水平和商用系统性能的上界,这对于衡量水声通信技术的发展水平具有一定的参考意义。

     

    Abstract: In recent years, further exploration of the ocean facilitates the quick development of the technique of underwater acoustic communication (UAC). The technical level of UAC has been improved significantly, and new tendencies have emerged over the last couple of decades. Based on the latest published research papers and experimental results, we summarize the development history of UAC and anticipate its future tendency, especially in the following three cutting-edge aspects: single-carrier modulation, multi-carrier modulation, and error control coding. We further draw a preliminary conclusion on the upper performance limit of both research UAC results and commercial UAC systems. This conclusion has certain reference significance for evaluating the development level of the UAC technique.
