Abstract:
In order to alleviate the video traffic overload of the base station, this paper designs a D2D cooperative video multicast transmission scheme for the delay-sensitive real-time video service. The scheme uses Scalable Video Coding (SVC) to encode the video stream, and utilizes the hierarchical structure features of the SVC stream to cope with the quality differences between multicast channels. In order to improve the users’ viewing experience and improve the video quality received by the user, the proposed cooperative SVC video streaming solution introduces the concept of goodput. Under certain delay constraints, the rate adjustment of different SVC video layers on different channels is flexibly adjusted according to channel feedback information. Compared with other schemes, the simulation results show that the proposed scheme can effectively reduce end-to-end delay, effective loss rate and improve goodput.
