气象雷达风电场杂波抑制的匹配追踪算法

Matching Pursuit Algorithm of Wind Farm Clutter Mitigation for Weather Radar

  • 摘要: 风电场作为一种高大运动障碍物会导致气象雷达产生探测盲区,并影响气象目标参数估计算法的稳健性,风电场杂波抑制对于提高气象雷达气象预报准确性,降低风电场选址要求等具有重要意义。本文首先将传统匹配追踪算法应用于扫描模式的气象雷达风电场杂波抑制中,同时针对传统匹配追踪算法运算效率较低问题,利用雷达与风轮机位置等先验信息,基于白塞尔大地主题反解估计雷达与目标方位角等相关参数,只对雷达扫描到目标区域的数据进行处理,从而在保证算法性能的基础上,有效地减少了运算量,提高运算效率,即同样条件下运行时间降低到原来的3%左右。

     

    Abstract: As a kind of tall moving obstacle, the wind farm may lead to the detection blind zone of the weather radar and affect the robustness of the weather target parameter estimation algorithm .The mitigation of wind farm clutter is of great significance to improve the weather forecast accuracy of the weather radar and reduce the site selection requirements of the wind farm. In this paper, the traditional matching pursuit algorithm was applied to the wind farm clutter suppression for the weather radar in the scanning mode. At the same time, in view of the low efficiency of the traditional matching pursuit algorithm, the prior information such as the position of radar and wind turbines, was used to estimate the distance and azimuth of the radar and clutter based on the inverse solution of Bessel’s geodetic problem, then the data scanned by the radar will be processed. Therefore, under the condition of ensuring the performance of the algorithm, the computational complexity is effectively reduced to about 3% on the same conditions and the computational efficiency is improved.
