基于休眠的无线传感器网络机会路由中继节点选择

An Opportunity Routing Algorithm Based on Hibernation for Relay Node Selection in Wireless Sensor Networks

  • 摘要: 无线传感器网络中的传感器节点具有有限的能量,一些节点通常因自身能量耗尽而导致网络整体无法高效运行,因此网络的节能优化成为了无线传感器网络路由协议设计的一个重要方面。本文针对一维(1-D)队列网络中的数据中继问题,提出了基于休眠的机会路由(ORBH)算法,以达到最小化能量消耗和最大化网络寿命。该算法在机会路由的基础上,不仅考虑了基于节点距离和剩余能量对能量较低节点的保护,同时还提出了基于休眠的选择算法,将节点的状态分为休眠状态、切换状态和工作状态。仿真结果表明,基于休眠的算法能在机会路由的基础上更好的延长网络寿命,提高网络的性能。

     

    Abstract: In the wireless sensor network (WSN) routing protocol design, energy savings optimization is one of the major concerns, because most sensor nodes are equipped with the limited nonrechargeable battery power. In this paper, we concentrate on minimizing energy consumption and maximizing the network lifetime for data relay in one-dimensional (1-D) queue network, and propose an opportunity routing algorithm based on hibernation (ORBH) that not only properly protects the nodes with low energy which consider the remaining energy of nodes and the distance between nodes, but also proposes a selection algorithm based on hibernation mechanism which divides the states of nodes into sleeping state, switching state and working state. The simulation results show that ORBH extends the network lifetime more effectively and improves the network performance on energy saving and wireless connectivity.
