Wind Turbine Radar Clutter Detection Method Based on Micro-Doppler Characteristics of Wind Turbine

  • 摘要: 作为一种清洁能源和可再生能源的形式,近年来风能受到了全球各国的普遍关注,风轮机会对其附近的航管监视雷达产生不利影响。风轮机雷达杂波检测技术的研究,对于保障民航飞机的空中交通安全起着重要作用。提出了一种基于风轮机雷达回波微多普勒特征的杂波检测方法,该方法利用风轮机与雷达波束不同位置条件下风轮机杂波的微动特征实现风轮机杂波的检测。对检测出的存在风轮机杂波的距离单元进一步判断是否存在飞机目标,进而只需对存在飞机目标的距离单元进行杂波抑制。仿真结果表明该算法能够实现风轮机雷达杂波的有效检测。

     

    Abstract: As a kind of clean energy and renewable energy, wind energy has been widespread concerned by the countries around the world in recent years. Wind turbine will have an adverse impact on air traffic control (ATC) surveillance radar located nearby. The study of wind turbine clutter detection technology plays an important role for ensuring the air traffic safety of civil aviation aircraft. The clutter detection method based on micro-Doppler characteristics of wind turbine radar echoes is presented. The method realizes wind turbine clutter detection by using of micro-Doppler characteristics of wind turbine clutter under the condition that wind turbine and radar beams are at different position. The range cell in which wind turbine clutter exists needs to be further determined whether there is a plane target. Then clutter mitigation method only works for the range cell where plane target exists.
