Abstract:
In this paper, a joint detection algorithm based on multiple antenna SUMPLE combining is proposed to solve the multi-antenna signals detection problem. Traditional signal detection algorithms, like energy detection (ED), their detection performance decreases with the increase of the noise power, and just a routine single point detection. They use little information of the correlation between antenna signals. So it’s impossible to directly apply the algorithm to multi-antenna system. This algorithm uses weights astringency of multiple antenna combining and strong correlation of multiple signals to detection the existence of signals. Firstly, we should segment those received signals. Then, using SUMPLE algorithm to calculate weights of multi-signals, and iterative fully convergence analysis of weights. What’s more, we should calculate the correlation between the multi-signals. Finally, we can detect the existence of signals. Theoretical analysis and simulation experiments show that this algorithm has the advantage of suitable for multiple antenna signals and high detection probability. When the SNR of received signals is quiet low, this algorithm still can effectively detect, which is much better than multi-antenna signals ED method.
