Abstract:
A low complexity angle tracking algorithm is proposed for the problem of tracking the angle of targets in bistatic multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radar. Firstly the difference between previous and current data covariance matrices is estimated. Secondly, the relationship between the different of covariance matrices and the different of target angle is derived and the corresponding formula is got. Last the different between previous and current angle is got by least square method (LMS). Then the direction of departure (DOD) and direction of arrival (DOA) of singles estimation is achieved. This method avoids the decomposition of the covariance matrix and reduces the computational complexity, which realizes DOD and DOA of the same moment automatic pairing. Since the algorithm can realize the neighboring time angle automatically associated, it does not require high complex angle automatically associated algorithms and realizes the target angle rapid tracking, which provides the technical support for the practical application of MIMO radar.
