双基地合成孔径雷达图像特性分析与利用

  • 摘要: 双基地合成孔径雷达(Synthetic Aperture Radar,SAR)是一种收发分置的SAR系统,其构型配置灵活,在前视成像、隐蔽接收等方面具有显著的优势,可广泛应用于军事侦察、环境监测等领域。然而,双基地SAR收发分置的系统形态也导致其与单基地SAR图像相比在几何特性、散射特性等方面存在较大差异。传统SAR图像解译方法大多是基于单基体制提出的,这些差异会使得传统图像解译方法在双基地SAR中的应用效果受限。目前专门分析阐述双基地SAR图像特性的公开文献还未见报道。为了更好地服务于双基地SAR的系统设计和技术应用,本文结合目标在不同构型下的透视收缩、叠掩关系和成像结果阴影投影关系,深入剖析了单/双基地SAR图像的几何特性差异。随后,根据双基地雷达散射模型,推导了典型目标在双基地SAR成像结果中的目标散射特性。此外,本文结合双基地SAR的几何特性和散射特性,分别开展了目标三维重建和目标结构信息恢复研究,初步探索了图像特性在双基SAR图像解译中的应用潜力。本文的工作将为深入理解双基地SAR的图像特性,为双基目标识别和图像解译提供有益的支撑。

     

    Abstract: Bistatic synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is a SAR system with separated transmitter and receiver, offering flexible configuration and significant advantages in forward-looking imaging and covert reception, which makes it widely applicable in military reconnaissance, environmental monitoring, and other fields. However, its bistatic configuration results in geometric and scattering characteristics that notably differ from those of monostatic SAR images. Traditional SAR image interpretation methods, primarily developed for monostatic systems, are limited in their effectiveness when applied to bistatic SAR due to these differences. Currently, publicly available literature that specifically analyzes bistatic SAR image characteristics is lacking. Therefore, to better support the system design and technical applications of bistatic SAR, this paper thoroughly examines the differences in geometric characteristics between monostatic and bistatic SAR images by analyzing perspective contraction, occlusion relationships, and shadow projection under different configurations. Based on the bistatic SAR scattering model, the scattering characteristics of typical targets in bistatic SAR imaging are further derived. Additionally, this study explores target three-dimensional reconstruction and structural information recovery by integrating the geometric and scattering characteristics of bistatic SAR, to preliminarily investigate the potential of these image characteristics in bistatic SAR image interpretation. The work presented in this paper provides valuable insights into understanding bistatic SAR image characteristics and supports target recognition and image interpretation of bistatic SAR.
